TERMS & CONDITIONS

By booking an appointment with Newborn Photography by Sylvia you are subject to these full terms and conditions.

BOOKING

Non Re-fundable Deposit –  a fee of £50 is payable on booking to secure your appointment and will be deducted from the remainder of the fee payable on the day of the session.

Deposit can be paid by bank transfer or paypal only.
Final balance payment should be made on the photo session day with cash or via bank transfer.

 RESCHEDULING & REFUND POLICY

I understand that plans change and emergencies happen, so if you need to reschedule or cancel your shoot, please give me as much notice as possible and I will always try my hardest to work with you.  My policy allows for one rescheduling to occur before a new retainer fee is required.  Retainers to reserve your date are NON-REFUNDABLE.  If no reasonable notice is given or you do not show up for your session, the session will be canceled you forfeit your deposit, another will be required to reschedule. For re-shoots required due to an act of God or illness of the photographer you will be contacted to arrange an alternative date, where not possible, the Photographer’s liability shall be limited to a full refund of the deposit.

At least 48 hours notice is required for Client cancellations. An alternative date will be offered where possible, but cannot be guaranteed.
Only one cancellation with less than 5 days notice are allowed before the session fee is retained.

Weather : If it is not possible for a session to take place on a scheduled day due to weather, Photographer and Client will reschedule on an agreed date at the earliest date possible, with no additional charge.

PROOFS, ONLINE GALLERY

​Images shall be made available to the Client to view on a private gallery within 2-3 weeks of the session date. Link to your online gallery shall be sent via email.
For security purposes, images on the online gallery are resized and watermarked these can not be removed under any circumstances.
The online gallery is available for 4 days only during which any orders should be placed. 
Newborn Photography by Sylvia is unable to store unwanted images indefinitely, images not purchased within a period of 2 months following a photo shoot will be considered unwanted, and will be deleted from my systems without further notice.
Once the images have been purchased they should be backed up by the client and Newborn Photography by Sylvia is no longer responsible for any digital files once they are taken by the client.

Newborn Photography by Sylvia can only guarantee the quality and look of prints and print products that are produced and sold by Newborn Photography by Sylvia.

Products: Any products should be inspected upon collection from client. Once the client agrees to take the products they are accepting they are in satisfactory condition. Once digital files have been transferred they are non-refundable.

RESPONSIBILITY AND ANY DAMAGES 

You agree to take all reasonable steps to ensure you and your family's safety while at the premises / in session with Newborn Photography by Sylvia. Newborn Photography by Sylvia will not be held liable for any injury/illnesses incurred by you or your family, or any damage to your belongings during the photo session. Furthermore, you will take responsibility of any damages caused by you or your family while on the premises / in session, and you may be charged to replace props/items that belongs to Newborn Photography by Sylvia.

COPYRIGHT AND REPRODUCTIONS:
Photographer agrees that Client may copy/reproduce/ enlarge the images for non-commercial and personal use only.
Client agrees not to use the images for profit, sale or competition without the written permission of the Photographer. The images must not be altered in any way by the Client which includes cropping, adding filters, changing colours, removing watermark (this list is not exhaustive). 

Client grants to Photographer, the right to use and publish photographs of Client, Client’s child or children, or in which Client may be included for editorial,  advertising and other purposes. Client hereby releases Photographer from all claims and liability relating to said photographs.

TERMS Newborn Photography by Sylvia reserves the right to use any photograph in any form such as, but not limited to, the use in advertising, reproduction, and copyright. All images are copyrighted by Newborn Photography by Sylvia, even those you purchase. Copying, scanning or reproducing images is strictly prohibited. Print-screening images from this website or your online gallery is also against the law. All offenders will be prosecuted accordingly. Prices are subject to change without notice and are non-negotiable. Prices are guaranteed for 30 days after your session. Due to the custom nature of photographic products, no refunds will be issued. By hiring Newborn Photography by Sylvia, you agree to these terms.
